If you are reading this, you already know the truth. Guinea pigs, chinchillas, bunnies, hedgehogs, rats and other small animals aren’t just pets, they are much loved family members. Just like any family member, they deserve a home that is safe, comfortable, and full of love.

How It All Started

As small pet owners ourselves, we know the struggle of walking into a standard pet store or browsing massive online marketplaces. We were constantly overwhelmed by the options available. So many small pet accessories were made of cheap, questionable materials, featured bright, clashing colors that didn't fit our home, or worse, they were actually unsafe for our animals.

We didn't want to compromise, instead we wanted to offer our pets a cozy, homelike environment without constantly worrying about hidden dangers or poor-quality fabrics. We knew there had to be a better way to pamper our piggies while keeping our homes looking beautiful.

Based in Finland, My Sleepy Friend was created to solve this problem. We are a lifestyle e-commerce store dedicated to bringing you a handpicked, highly curated selection of cage accessories, handmade items, enrichment toys, and smart cleaning supplies.

We do the heavy lifting and strict quality control so you don't have to. If we wouldn't put it in our own cage, we won't sell it to you.

I’m Patrik, the human behind the scenes! Whether I'm packing your orders or testing out new snacks (I mean my pigs are testing them not me.. haha), my goal is to help you create the best possible life for your sleepy little friends.

Of course, I don't do this alone. Our true CEOs and Chief Product Testers are my own guinea pigs. Every cage liner, hideout, and hay bag has to pass their testing before it ever makes it to the store.
